What to feed your family is something you will need to figure out daily.

Honestly, I get tired of struggling with what we are going to eat every day! Feeding 3 guys with different tastes isn’t always easy. I struggle with settling on something healthy vs quick and easy.

I have learned multiple times, going to the grocery store tired after a long day at work can be stressful and lead to unfocused shopping.

The best way to approach the ‘what are we going to eat’ issue is to make a plan, preferably one you can stick to.

I still struggle with meal planning, but over the last three weeks, I have successfully planned our dinners and stuck to it. Keep reading to see 5 quick meals I’ve cooked for dinner and hopefully, they will give you some ideas on what to feed your crew.

Crispy Chicken Salad

Salad is usually on the menu every week because it makes me feel like we are eating healthy at least one day of the week. I like to load our favorite ingredients into a big bowl, top with ranch dressing, then toss it all together. Sometimes I slide in healthier ingredients the guys don’t even know about.

Chicken Tenders & Fries

I really can’t go wrong when I serve anything fried with a side of french fries. For this recipe, all you need is a package of chicken breast tenderloins, flour, seasoning, cooking oil, and a bag of frozen fries. If you are tired or pressed for time, it’s ok to use frozen chicken tenders that can easily be thrown into the oven or air fryer.

Shrimp Tacos

Tacos of any kind are a repeat option on our dinner menu for more than one reason. Who doesn’t love a good taco? I used a recipe from Pinterest to jazz up these shrimp tacos with cilantro lime dressing and cotija cheese. They were so good!

Combination Fajita Tacos

Here we are with another taco recipe, this shouldn’t be much of a surprise considering how easy it is to put together a taco. This time I combined beef, chicken, bell pepper, and onion. The flavor was amazing and so satisfying!

Shrimp Scampi

I’m a seafood lover so on this blog, you will see lots of meals that contain shrimp. I was really proud of this one because it tasted as good as what you get from Red Lobster. The only thing missing here was the cheddar bay biscuits. Since the mix is now sold in stores, I’m definitely going to make this again with the biscuits and use them to soak up that good butter sauce.

This small meal roundup will get you through one week, but just imagine if you plan out your family’s meals every week. This one simple act of planning is a stress reliever that has changed my life and can help you too.

Please leave a comment below if you have any dinner ideas you would like to share and I will add them to this post.
